Moosonee Minor Hockey Association and Hockey Canada are committed to promoting a safe and respectful sport environment, free from all forms of maltreatment. Creating a positive and healthy culture in sport is a shared responsibility—one that includes athletes, coaches, parents, and all members of the hockey community. Through strong education and accessible reporting resources, we strive to support safe sport practices at every level.
Addressing maltreatment in sport requires a collaborative and coordinated effort among organizations and governing bodies. Clear roles, responsibilities, and effective solutions must be identified to ensure meaningful progress.
All allegations of maltreatment within our sport are handled through Hockey Canada’s Independent Third Party (ITP) complaint process. We strongly encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses maltreatment—including those acting on behalf of others—to reach out to the ITP.
