Hotel Policy

What we, Moosonee Minor Hockey and the Northern Ontario Hockey Assocciation (NOHA) expect the following from our members and families

  • Respect hotel property, staff, and other guests
  • Follow quiet hours (typically 10PM to 7AM)
  • Supervise children at all times in commons areas
  • Follow staff instruction immediately
  • Report an concerns to your team contact or hotel staff

What Happens If Rules Are Broken

  • First Warning: Hotel staff will speak with the individual and notify your team contact. Everyone must follow instructions immediately.

 If Behaviour Continues

  • You'll be asked to leave the hotel
  • Your player will not be able to play in the tournament
  • If multiple people cause problems, the entire team may be removed with no refund
  • Misconduct on the last night will prevent the team from entering the next tournament

This policy is part of our broader effort to build positive hockey environments everywhere - at rinks, hotels, and online. When we all do our part:

  • Players can focus on development and fun
  • Referees feel safe and respected
  • Communities welcome our teams back
  • Hockey remains accessible for everyone
